Our journey, exploring new areas like Windmills, Solar Power, and Transmission Lines with limited resources, has been challenging yet rewarding. The timely installation of 26 MW windmills in Jaisalmer marked a pivotal moment, setting the stage for our subsequent achievements, including economical traction power supply and regulatory support for IR across India. Being part of a new joint venture integral to IR has been a remarkable experience.As founder CEO, I wish all the success and its further all-round development.The creation of REMC Ltd. was crucial for reducing Indian Railways' electricity bills by utilizing its status as a deemed licensee and accessing low-cost green energy. I am proud to have contributed to REMC Ltd.%u2019s formation in my role as EDEEM at the Railway Board.Securing power as a deemed licensee and obtaining open access from states was a significant challenge, accomplished with the support of the Railway Board, RITES, and the REMC Ltd. team.
