With the Destination Uttarakhand Investors Summit 2018, we wish to showcase the scope of growth in booming sectors like manufacturing, tourism, wellness and food processing etc in the state.

It is wonderful that Uttarakhand is hosting their first ever Investors Summit in October 2018. This Summit will showcase the large scope for investment across several sectors in the state. Greater investment enhances prosperity and offers tremendous opportunities to the youth of Uttarakhand. All this will give strength to the development journey of Uttarakhand and the nation.
Chief Minister’s Message
Uttarakhand welcomes you to its first-ever global Investors Summit being organized in Dehradun on 7th and 8th October, 2018. The Summit will showcase the vibrant industrial ecosystem of Uttarakhand and the attractive incentives offered to investors through various government policies. While Uttarakhand’s potential in sectors like manufacturing, tourism, pilgrimage, food processing and renewable energy is well known, we have identified a total of 12 focus sectors which will be our key enablers for rapid industrialisation and development.
In the Summit, industry experts and thought leaders will deliberate on several topics of business interest and join the growth story of the state. Uttarakhand offers swift project approvals through its Single Window Portal, ‘Invest Uttarakhand.’ The cost and process of setting up a business in the state is also lower compared to several other states in the country.
We thank the existing businesses in Uttarakhand, who act as our ambassadors in the business community and welcome them to further explore new investment opportunities. We also urge all domestic and international businesses to participate in Destination Uttarakhand Investors Summit 2018 and become a part of Uttarakhand's growth story.
